“ Updating my review 2 years later after many excellent experiences at Sally O’s. Had a first date there this evening and the staff was incredibly attentive (and concerned when my date was 15 mins late lol). I love the fancy cocktails so much - Sally’s is my go to when I just want a nice drink. The decor is such a vibe. I can’t help taking pics and posting them on my stories. Homemade ranch was served with the mouthwatering truffle fries. BEST RANCH EVER. I’d buy a jar of it if possible. Great night can’t wait to go back. ”
“ Cool little spot in HighlandTown. I used to spend a lot of time in this part of town in the 90’s and I’m noticing that it’s slooowly getting gentrified. This spot is a good addition to the neighborhood with good food and drinks. Everyone was very attentive, especially our bartender who wanted to make sure we were delighted with our drinks. We also had a pleasant conversation with the owner, and she also attended to our needs. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and the ribeye plate portion was huge. My wife had the Crabonara and she loved her choice. We shall be back. PS: I loved the decor but I wish they’d do some lighting cable/wire maintenance to clean up the look. ”

“ Phenomenal smash burger -- probably the best I've ever had. Crispy edges on the patty, melty cheese, and a really solid sauce. As an added bonus, it came with a generous serving of excellent fries, and their side salad had some real heft to it, too: a really nice selection of fresh veggies rather than a few limp leaves. Staff was very sweet; the bartender was more than happy to give recommendations , and steered me towards the above-mentioned burger. Will definitely be back (I want to try their chicken sandwich, though it'll be hard not to get that burger again). ”

“ Come for the burger and cake, stay for the cocktails and hospitality. Sally O's is a quirky yet welcoming Highlandtown neighborhood joint and is by far one of my favorite spots in Baltimore, I'm sad to admit I've only been twice. Everyone raves about the burger and yes, it is an insanely good burger but so are the other dishes on the menu. DO NOT sleep on the squash rings or the Ratatouille Tartine. Both the food and cocktails are just as creative as they are yummy. To top it off ,the staff is incredible and so very knowledgeable and passionate about what they are putting on the table. Both indoor (bar or table) and outdoor seating available and it seems like they do get pretty busy on Saturday nights after 6pm so make a reservation and check this gem out! ”
